I called my (old) HVAC company for repair of my on-demand hot water system. They have an AI assistant instead of a human who answers calls. The earliest appointment was two weeks out. The AI assistant reassured me that I was a "preferred customer," but wasn't able to schedule anything sooner.
I then called Monomoy Mechanical and spoke with Matt in the office, who understood the issue, reviewed the techs' locations and schedules, and scheduled an appointment for later that afternoon.
