I called my (old) HVAC company for repair of my on-demand hot water system. They have an AI assistant instead of a human who answers calls. The earliest appointment was two weeks out. The AI assistant reassured me that I was a "preferred customer," but wasn't able to schedule anything sooner.
I then called Monomoy Mechanical and spoke with Matt in the office, who understood the issue, reviewed the techs' locations and schedules, and scheduled an appointment for later that afternoon. Tim, the tech who came out, was experienced, knowledgeable, and an excellent communicator. He quickly diagnosed the issue. A part was in stock at the shop, and the repair was completed two days later. As a new customer, I was impressed by the quick response and professionalism of Matt and Tim. This was an excellent experience from the first call to having hot water again.
