I called my (old) HVAC company for repair of my on-demand hot water system. They have an AI assistant instead of a human who answers calls. The earliest appointment was two weeks out. The AI assistant reassured me that I was a "preferred customer," but wasn't able to schedule anything sooner. I then called Monomoy Mechanical and spoke with Matt in the office, who understood the issue, reviewed the techs' locations and schedules, and scheduled an appointment for later that afternoon. Tim, the tech who came out, was experienced, knowledgeable, and an excellent communicator. He quickly diagnosed the issue. A part was in stock at the shop, and the repair was completed two days later. As a new customer, I was impressed by the quick response and professionalism of Matt and Tim. This was an excellent experience from the first call to having hot water again.

Every pipe and piece of equipment is perfectly straight and in line. They made some suggestions and improvements which made this system nearly silent. The heat output is incredibly fast. Way faster than our previous boiler. Now we can shower, run the dishwasher, and do a load of hot wash laundry and not run out of hot water in the shower! When the work was completed, you could have eaten off the floor it was so clean. Honestly, Monomoy Mechanical is the home plumbing and HVAC company you’ve been looking for: smart, intelligent mechanical work and at a reasonable price—installed and cared for by perfectionists.

We Are Very Pleased With the Install Apr 21, 2026

We recently had a Fujitsu mini-split system installed by Monomoy Mechanical of Yarmouth, MA, and we are very pleased with the install and performance of the Fujitsu equipment. Jason Houle was our contact from beginning to end. Jason was extremely helpful in the process, he answered all of our questions and was able to arrange the install on a day we had asked for. Dustin and Dave were the installers and made short work of the job. They were able to work the line set through the attic as we asked and were very considerate of protecting our floors by laying down drop cloths and cleaned up as they worked from room to room. Once the job was done they walked me through the functionality of the system, the do's and don'ts, and the things to look out for. We had reached out to 3 other companies in and around the Dennisport area for quotes and that's mostly what we got, just quotes. Monomoy was really great in answering any questions about pros and cons before we had even put down a deposit and when you call the company, there was a person that actually answers the phone and she was very polite and helpful.
